Practical Communication Solutions is owned and operated by Danielle Walker, a public relations and marketing professional with more than 10 years of experience. Having worked in a variety of industries, Walker is well versed in public relations and marketing planning, writing, special event coordination, proofreading and other communications tools and tactics.
In 2008, Walker successfully completed the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) examination. APR is a mark of distinction for public relations professionals who demonstrate their commitment to the profession and to its ethical practice, and who are selected based on broad knowledge, strategic perspective, and sound professional judgment.
She is an active member of the Oklahoma City Chapter, Public Relations Society of America, having served in a number of leadership roles, including president (2008), president-elect (2007), treasurer (2006), professional development committee chair (2001, 2002, 2003) and awards chair (2005).
Walker is an active volunteer and serves on the Infant Crisis Services public relations committee, as well as volunteering her time as a member of the Bethesda, Inc., Board of Directors. |
